Hello, I'm a journalist writing a story about "kid tracking" technologies. These are services often offered by cell phone carriers like Sprint and Verizon that allow parents to keep track of their child's GPS-enabled cell phone (usually seeing its location on an online map), thereby keeping a virtual eye on where the child is. I don't, but I would use it if my child had a phone. I think it has to be used responsibly though. Over use just like anyhting else can be harmful.
