I think the key for me is allowing yourself sweet stuff, but just be sure it's healthy sweet stuff. I like to eat those little fruit gummy snacks they make for kids. One pack, and it satisfies my sweet cravings, and it's virtually no calories. Taffy, gummi bears...stuff like that has so few bad calories. Or buy those 100 calorie cookie bags. Or only allow yourself 2 or 3 Oreo cookies or something.

Really, all you need to do is ride out 2 weeks. After that, it'll be a habit, and you will develop the will power to not eat junk.

That was my worst time too Lissa. My favorite was to put cinnamon and splenda on an apple and bake it and have that at night. YUM.
You don't starve yourself. You will find once you cut out alot of the junk your body will not crave it.
I sat here one day and actually craved asparagus. Then I knew without a doubt that it was working.


Buy the pria bars at a warehouse in bulk. It's way cheaper!

I don't need to lose weight, just need to resume my work outs to get back in shape. Due to female health issues, I haven't been able to properly exercise for the past year. Thankfully, my surgery took care of that, but now just waiting for the green light from my doctor to get back to my normal routine.

Junk food is only an occasional treat in our house. We rarely drink soda and nothing with artificial sweeteners. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies and healthy meals and snacks.

My Dad is a diabetic and loves Splenda. I keep some on hand for when he visits, but will not use it otherwise. I've read artificial sweeteners aren't good for kids and they make me physically ill. If I eat or drink anything with artificial sweeteners I get terrible intestinal cramps. The kind that make you curl into fetal position and keep you up all night. No, thanks!

I get a lot of anxiety before bedtime so maybe I need to take an extra Klonopin or something. I think that's the reason I get hungry.
