So my little monkey's first birthday is tomorrow and guess where Mr. Wonderful is...

In bed.

I'm in the middle of frying up 10lbs of hamburger for sloppy joes. I still have to get everything together. I have to get up tomorrow and get the vegetable tray, cake and balloons by 10am and be at the hall by 10:30am.

I will be up until midnight at least. Which really isn't any different than any other day I guess.

I need a drink.

Isn't the first birthday the "Mommy gets a little tipsy" birthday?

I remember those days. Mine have to rotate parties. This year it's the twins birthday bash. I'm sure it'll be Hannah Montana. I'll make the house into a concert stage and do karoke and bring out all the rocker dress up clothes and have a make up booth and nail polish stand. It'll be awesome and then put in a Hannah movie to rock to.
This party is going to ROCK!!!!!!!!!

Fooser, I disagree the way you talked to Hannahs mom. She's doing her best and all children are different. My children would not be as smart as they are now if I didn't give them room to figure things out with me hovering non stop. If you don't let them learn on their own then they will never learn anything.

I hope so. It snowed again so of course my FIL and his wife are NOT coming per usual.

I don't know how many people will be there. My invitations went out late due to her being sick.

So...some people didn't get them until today. That means that others won't have them until ohhhhh say Monday.

In my previous post I said I walked to work in subzero weather, but my job wasn't that I worked in a freezer. If anything working in freezer would have been warmer than it was outside. I worked the morning shift at a restaurant. I remember walking a few of blocks, popping into a bar to warm up, then walking a few more blocks to the next bar and so on.
