My wife and I have been here nine years. We're both from Phoenix, AZ area originally. We love it, but even after nine years, we're still getting used to the whole tornado warning thing.
Nothing like sitting in an interior bathroom with three little boys and a smelly dog! |

Children: 4 yr old goof ball | Re: Three kids, and now three posts | | We actually had one pass right over our house when I lived in Shreveport. We live on a hill and the best we can guess is it 'jumped' over us and then a block away taking the 2nd story off of a house.
Scary stuff.

I should point out that my kids, at least the 5-year-old and 2-year-old, thought that it was incredibly fun to hang out in the bathroom for 20 minutes while the tornado threat was close. |

Of course, the five-day forecast is pretty much a shot in the dark in most parts of Texas. |

Of course, the five-day forecast is pretty much a shot in the dark in most parts of Texas. | Yep, I check the weather by looking out the window and that is only accurate for five minutes or less in TX.
