But it's really rare cases or special surgeries... many Canadians go to the U.S. because there are specialists in a particular field we may not have in Canada...
Yes, sometimes you have to wait really long, but I think it's a small price to pay for free healthcare... I don't even understand how you guys can afford insurance... but I guess that's why 50% of Americans are uninsured or underinsured. |

We don't pay our insurance (thank God) My husband is union so his work and then the union pay for us. Of course we have co-pays and such, but at least we can afford those lol
I think there are benifits and disadvantages to both |

We pay an arm and a leg for a premium and it isn't even worth it because our deductible is so high. Healthcare in America is ridiculous. Don't even get me going there.
