Is that what it is, or something else? Because we had to know this stuff in school... Canadian school. |
I'm a product of American schools, and I learned world geography, which of course, includes Canada.
A common misconception in my area (New England) is that all Canadians speak French. Argh! That's probably due to the fact of Quebec's close proximity and the vast number of French Canadiennes who vacation here. I'm English Canadian, and can't speak French, like most of my Canadian relatives. Funny thing is, I now have a French last name, because DH (an American) has French Canadienne roots. LOL! God, I hate correcting people on the spelling and pronunciation of my name. |
