| Summer Vacations | | For those of us who are planning to take a road trip or drive to our vacation spot this summer, I have prepared a list of online sites where you can download music, books, TV shows and movies to keep your kids entertained during the trip. The sites are FREE and LEGAL, all you need is a portable DVD player, Mp3 players or some other digital media player. Here is the list
We are going to Orlando, FL with the kids in August. I was able to purchase a timeshare resort unit about 3 years ago for only $600.00 and I exchange it every year to go to Orlando or other places.
This summer I exchanged it for a two bethroom unit with full kitchen for only $189.00/week. Having a full kitchen saves us a lot of money in food, because we don't have to eat out every day.
The other thing we did is we purchased a annual pass to Disney's Water Parks. I discovered a special annual pass called After Two, where you are allowed to enter the parks after 2:00 PM. Since the water parks are open until 7:00 PM during the summer, you actually have enough time to enjoy them. The best part is that it cost only $60.00 per person, and you have unlimited parks admission during 1 year. (Disney has two water parks in FL and the annual pass is good for both parks)
Anybody else already have their summer vacation already planned? |

Anybody else already have their summer vacation already planned? | They also do an annual pass for Busch Gardens and Sea World for $40. Disney has an annual to but it's alot. We will probably do what we always do and go to the pool or the yacht club and just hang out. We have a water park here but it gets too cramped with the tourists. Winter is a great time to go there for us. |

As a matter of fact, Universal, Sea World and Bush Garden allows you to buy the annual pass and pay it monthly. It comes out like $10.00 a month which is great if you have a large family and not too much money.
They also have a lot of specials for FL residents.
A couple of months ago, we went to Disney and my son's pediatrician gave us a note saying that he couldn't stand in line because of his alergies. Disney gave us a special pass that allowed us to get in all the rides w/o having to wait in line. We went in so fast that it we visitied Animal Kindom, Epcot and Magic Kindom in one day!

I'm in Western Nebraska so we're going to be hitting up all of the State and National Parks, the 1880 train, Mt. Rushmore, and all that silly tourist stuff up in Rapid. My kids love Dinosaur Park and I need to hit up Art Alley to take pics for another forum. (Vacation without work? no wai!) And the manditory stop at Mostly Chocolates. |

I'm a frequent flyer. What kind of allergies does he have that a line would hurt him? |
