well my thinking now, is that they should be worn as an adult. So 18. I couldn't really stop her at 16 though, if she bought them herlself. Ok I take that back I could stop her, but not sure I would

I've found a few in the house.. I would never buy them and I've told them very clearly - If I see them, they're going in the garbage - and they do. I guess when they are 18 they can.. not sure I'll like it then either.

My thongs are punishment if I've waited too long to do the laundry. I can't imagine girls wanting to wear them on purpose. I kinda want to go buy one for Lita right now so she can feel how uncomfortable they are and never want them.

In our family, they can wear them when they can buy them for themselves. I don't like the way they look on young girls, and I refuse to buy them. So far, at 18 and 15, neither girl has expressed an interest in wearing them.

My mom let us wear them, and she even bought some of them for us. However, my reasoning for wanting to wear a thong was purely for sexual appeal, so keep that in mind lol. I don't know why my little sister wanted to wear them, maybe because she saw them hanging out of all her friends' pants or something. Cause she's still a virgin, so who knows. Also aside from underwear, I liked to dress all "goth" and that when I was in highschool, and since my mom didn't like that, she told me if I wanted to dress like that, I had to buy my own clothes. And I did! If it were me with my daughter, at the age I found appropriate like 14-16, and she wanted to, I would PROBABLY tell her that she could but only if she bought them herself. I'm not too sure, I MIGHT end up buying them it's too hard to put myself in that situation. But I do know that either way, the FIRST time I even THOUGHT I saw one of her thongs hanging out for the world to see, they'd be gone forever because that's gross (on kids) and I hate it.
