Most teenagers work, babysit, get money on the holidays, they can afford a $2.00 pair of underwear if they really want them. And you should care, thongs are all about sex appeall, in the beginning, it definalty isn't about comfort cause they take a little getting used to, any time a teen is trying to up their appeal to boys a parent should be concerned.

Teens are sexual beings, theyre going to do a million and one things to appeal to boys, but from my view, as long as I keep the topic of sex open in the household and make sure that my daughter is raised to be a responsible girl who is aware of her sexuality and respects it, her underwear shouldnt matter.

I figure once a kid is in highschool the underpants that they decide to wear are nobodies business but their own. as long as they are underwear and not poking up out of the jeans in that ridiculous fashion that young girls are following. I dont know why parents make a rod for their own back by sweating the small stuff like this.

I would ask myself and my child this question....who beside you is going to see your underwear? If my daughter feel like she needs to wear "fancy" underwear then that would be a red flag to possible sexual activity. The two dont go hand in hand but I would question it. When shes able to buy them for herself she can wear them. Dad would go ape if I actually purchased them for her. On this subject....bikini underwear in lilttle girls size. To me it's the same as a tween wearing a thong. Ugggg.

I know omg forget that I've seen little girl panties with just tiny strings on the legs to hold them up. And stuff like frills and silk. UMMM HELLO. Seriously? Somebody's targeting certain peoples' appeal to pedofilia as a marketing tool. It's like hmm what would make my five year old look sexy with no clothes on?

Bikini undies is a godsend if you have petite little girls like mine! The briefs would be sticking up out of their pants, which I think would be worse.
