Wow - just watched an excellent National Geographic movie I got from Netflix,
In the Womb.
Also known as "Life Before Birth" according to the IMDb:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0488408/
I would imagine most or all of this would be fascinating to someone who is already a parent but if you're an expecting first-time parent like me I'd say run out and rent this movie now!
It covered the entire journey from pre-conception through birth and used a combination of computer-generated graphics, ultrasounds & "4d" ultrasounds, and even a little bit of in utero video captured during a fetal surgery! I didn't know there was such a thing as fetal surgery - amazing.
It was a very feel good portrayal not to mention educational and interesting. If you haven't seen it I definitely recommend it.
Any other good movies like this out there?
