Zeit - AW!! Yeah, where they're not my favorite style of hat, they are very good for sun protection and shade for the face. I think they can be really cute depending on the hat and the kid wearing it.
Fallon - Eli pulls off ANY hat, it drives me bonkers. At least he has thick, long dark hair. And he'll do anything to wear sunglasses LOL!

I knew I'd stir up controversy with that post
| LOL...yes, the great bucket hat debate. Maybe it could beat out the circ or pot debates in "hot Topics" ;-)

I would join in further on the debate, but sadly my energies are taken at the moment in writing my congressmen, urging an investigation into the powerful "bucket hat lobby." |

Children: A 2.5 year old boy, Eli. | Re: BEST Sunblock | | Well, I went with Coppertone Water Babies. I read a lot of good things about it, and it even says "number one pediatrician reccomended brand" on it lol so why not? It was a little pricey though. Anyway, we'll see how his skin does with it.

Children: 3 children ages 11, 8 and 6 weeks | Re: BEST Sunblock | | I do market research and have recently had to look at cosmetic products and I would definitely stay away from any of the coppertone or major brand sunscreens for children! Most of them contain really nasty chemicals (alas I just found this out and my older two have been slathered in them for years).
After my research I found that brand called CaliforniaBaby is one of the best in terms of quality of product and low amount of chemicals. I think you can get it at Target. |

Children: 3 children ages 11, 8 and 6 weeks | Re: BEST Sunblock | | www.cosmeticsdatabase.com is a good place to search for safe/safer sunscreens. they rank all kinds of cosmetics according to the safety of their ingredients and the "data gaps" that exist regarding each one. |

If the last post in a thread is over 30 days old, do not post in it please. Feel free to create a new thread on the same topic if you'd like.
