Children: one beautiful baby girl | Re: favorite products | | We just got our nursery "done" - of course there are a few small things to do yet but it's close enough to call "done" (with quotation marks). After the remodeling phase, I got to help put together the stuff that needed putting together and unwrap the other stuff from my wife's baby shower. Wow. Babies "require" a lot of stuff.
A lot of it is really cool. For instance, the Baby Trend Diaper Champ. I can't believe I just called a dirty diaper storage contraption "cool". I can't say for sure but I'm betting it'll be nice to have this for those 3am diaper changes.
We also got the Basic Comfort Ultimate Crib Sheet. If this works as advertised this also seems like it'll save a lot of time & hassle. We got 2 of these so taking care of changing the crib seems as easy as swapping the dirty one for the clean one.
Lots of other great stuff... Can't wait to try it all out. |

Children: Nichole | Re: favorite products | | We have the baby seat that turns to a toddler seat as well. Nichole loves it. We did have to take it away from her for about 2 or 3 months. She would try to satnd in it and it would rock back and fall. |

Children: Nichole | Re: favorite products | | Tom- i used the diaper champ as well. And loved it. Now Nichole was breastfed so poop didn't strink, but... I have heard lots of people that hated it. We used it probably till about9 or 10 months. |

Bonus. Do you remember any reasons the people said they hated it? Just curious - does it sometimes not work right or what? |

Children: I have two children, a girl and a boy, with a third on the way. | Re: favorite products | | When I found out I was having a son, I picked up some Pee-Pee TeePees. What an amazing invention. The super-soft cones were a life-saver--or should I say shirt-saver--during diaper changes. Another new-baby must have is Organic skin care products. Read the labels carefully and skip products that contain sodium lauryl sulfates, artificial fragrances and parabens. |

Children: Nichole | Re: favorite products | | i agree.
Sorry I never responded back to Toms post, didn't realizse it til now.
Breastfed baby do not have as much waste as a formula fed baby. They only poo out a small amount therefore it is a sweeter smelling poo. NOt that you would stick your nose in it and take a whiff, but very little smell to it till you introduce solids |

Children: 2 children, Debra Lyn, and Logan (Bubba) Michael | Re: favorite products | | Pee-Pee TeePees...lol I have to find those. I'm always afraid to talk during diaper changes for fear he'll get me in the mouth...lol but it's crooked so he usually gets his own face |

Children: 5 year old girl, 2 year old boy and newborn boy | Re: favorite products | | I LOVE my sling for Destin. And my other must-have that I'm so thankfull for is my Tandem stroller. My mom got it for us when I was pregnant with Charles, so that both him and Becca could ride in it, even though she was 3 1/2 and about ready to be kicked out of the stroller.... So when Destin came around I looked at that thing and thanked God every day for it. I don't know what I would do without it. - Well... never go anywhere, that's what!
