Default Stroller Recommendations

I will be a new mom in February 09. Before I make the investment, I'm wondering which stroller would be best to buy for my baby. I've heard good things about both Gracco and Chicco. We're looking for the travel system (can also use as a car seat). Please let me know the stroller that you would recommend.

Thanks!

Hi!

I have a Graco travel system, and it's great, but make sure that the stroller part will fit in your trunk! We didn't test it before we purchased the set, and the stroller fits (we have a honda accord, with an average sized trunk, so we didn't foresee any problems) but it's a battle every time.

Other than that, the stroller has lots of storage, and my favorite... cup holders

One more piece of advice, if you're looking for a car seat/stroller combo, go with the one that allows for the most weight. I think that most go up to 22lbs, some will go up to 30lbs... The 30lbs might buy you a few more months before you need to get another seat.

Good luck!

Hi,

Perhaps you want to look after this stroller. Just want to give you an alternative, whether you want it or not, it's depends on you. Hope you'll find the best stroller for your new baby born later..

ummmm....wth?...(sorry originally, there was a really nasty post before mine)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I like Graco brand stuff...I would look into what they offer for your needs.

Mine, now unused....is still in fantastic shape, and I was able to buy extra toy attachments for the front for K to play with....the handle drink holders and storage compartment were great also.

What? Surely that post isn't out of place in a thread about strollers. I mean, come on. "Stroller" was CLEARLY code, the people who posted about ACTUAL strollers just aren't with it.

We picked up a "Graco Passage Travel System.Graco Passage Travel System. " Windsor pattern, which doesn't seem to be available on Amazon.

We're pretty fond of it... though we won't have the opportunity to field test it until April.
