There are some children who are runners, meaning they will run from caretakers and know few personal boundaries. These are not disgruntled children and offspring but those who are Autistic or have similar issues.

If you are concerned about your pubescent, special needs child, you might consider checking with your local police department and having them attach a tracking bracelet. It resembles a watch and is there for emergencies where the child is missing. It is much better than finger prints and other information based programs because, usually, those will only be used when looking for a body, not a living child.

We all want the special needs children as safe as they can be. Consider this option to create a little peace of mind.

I have never heard of this program before. But it does sound like a great idea. I am not sure if they have it in our area but I have a very good friend that has a special needs child and this would be great for them. Thank you for passing this on.
