Children: Hannah, age 6 | Re: Grrrrrrrr | | I am starting Clomid on my next cycle - the problem is that I can go 3 months without a period. And so then I have to take the Prometrium to make me have a period. So it will probably be January before I can start the Clomid. |

 | Re: Grrrrrrrr | | That's what was happenning to me. I went 70+ days without having a period for my longest cycle. Most of my periods in the past 8 month have been Provera induced :0{
I may have to take Provera again this cycle to rbing it on yet again. We will see come tomorrow if I finally get it on my own or not. That will be cd 36 for me.
What cycle day are you on now? Maybe your doctor will start you on Progesterone to make you get your period this month so you can start your Clomid in December instead?

 Children: Jamie (5) | Re: Grrrrrrrr | | Welcome, bls81!
We've been trying for a few months now. My crazy irregular periods aren't helping any.
Hang in there! It'll hopefully happen for all of us!

Children: Hannah, age 6 | Re: Grrrrrrrr | | Right now I am just on 15. If I hadn't switched docs I would already be on the clomid, but I moved and so I needed a doc closer to me. I don't see her until January. |

 | Re: Grrrrrrrr | | Hannah's mommy- I know I can say "hang in there" but that's probably not what you want to hear right now. But with the holidays right around the corner and the how busy December usually is with shopping and all that...I'm sure it will go by quickly! And by the time you see your new doctor you may not have had your period yet, so you may be able to get the progesterone to start your new cycle right away!
You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Rhian- Thanks for the welcome wishes! What is it with these crazy irregular periods anyway? I was always so regular, with 28 day cycles. Then I went on the pill for 3 years and I think it was the worst thing I could have done! I never would have thought it would have an effect liek it has. Now I am anything but normal or 'regular'. I know it will happen for all of us :0}

I was always really regular too! It was 30 days. I could set my clock by it. And then I had my daughter, and haven't had a regular period since - they have all been induced. And she is almost six! But I do think the month will pass quickly, and who knows, maybe I will get pregnant right away after starting the clomid. It just sucks SO bad - my daughter was a surprise, so of course when we were actually ready to PLAN to have one I thought it would be easy! No such luck.
Good luck to you too! And Rhian! |

 | Re: Grrrrrrrr | | Thanks so much hannah's mommy! I am keeping my finger crossed for you...and for you Rhian!
So I called my doctors office today b/c I am on cd 36 now and no period and another negative test. Even though I feel like I am going to get my period any second...they are starting me on Provera today...hopefully I will get my period in just a couple days b/c of the added progesterone. I will then start my second round of clomid, 50mg days 5-9. Keeping spirits high over here :0}

Children: Hannah, age 6 | Re: Grrrrrrrr | | good luck! What brand of provera do you take? I am always on 14 days of the pill, then I start my period within 7 days after the 14th day. So it still takes 20 days after I start the provera to start my period, but it sounds like it only takes you a couple of days? |
