The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced today that eight firms have agreed to pay a total of $320,000 to settle allegations that the firms failed to report to the CPSC, as required by federal law, that their children's hooded sweatshirts or jackets were sold with drawstrings at the hood and neck. Its amazing how much it takes to get these companies to admit or to with draw products. I mean it makes you wonder what they are thinking when they draw up the design for these clothing. Especially when the product is for young children. | ||
