apples, chicken when he got a little older...and if he was being a pain about eating veggies I would mix in green beans, or peas

Thanks for all of your input. I do give him his bottle first when he wakes up then I wait a few minutes to give him his cereal and fruit. I dont always do the veggies in the morning just when he still seems hungry. I think I will stick with this feeding schedule because it seems to be working. During the whole day its not even equal to 3 jars of fruit/veggies. But I will watch him to make sure he isnt gaining too much weight. Thanks again!!

Is your baby happy? You can tell most of what you need to know by your baby's demeanor. If your baby is fussy and cranky, then there is something wrong, but if the baby is happy after feedings and usually sleeps through the night, you're clearly doing it right.

Why not listen to your "mother instinct?" It's there and you're doing fine.
