Just curious for those of you that bf also.

Have you ever woken up to some hickeys on your breast? I nurse my Kaitlyn at night and normally we can get a pretty good latch while we're both still half asleep. Well, I guess I missed last night and woke up to this big, huge, purple hickey!

It's so horrible and funny at the same time.

Just one of those things I wanted to share with other bf mommies!

I can't say I ever missed. lol
I remember being so tired that I woke up thinking I forgot to put the baby in her crib and had my hand on her head. The problem was it wasn't her head it was my own booby, it was as big as her head so I thought she was still laying on me. Thankfully, she was safe and sound in her bed.
A close friend of mine did this a few times so I didn't feel alone. Sleep deprivation sucks.

It happened a few months ago with my son. He was so excited to be fed, he made a huge lunge for the nipple, missed by about an inch, and just latched on there. He got such a good hold it took me about three minutes to get him off without hurting him! I had a big purple blotch for about a week and a half.
