LOL I didn't see those shows, but I know I would have been laughing my rear off! Too funny! Well, Marissa does still nurse, but I am not complaining. It's only for about 3-4 minutes a night, usually in the middle of the night. I think it's just a comfort thing. We're almost there, so I am not worried, and she is only 13 months, so no rush  That is great that Nicole didn't give you a hard time about telling her no. I know how hard it is to wean, but you've done a great job going for so long. And it's cute that she doesn't make a huge deal out of not getting to nurse | ||

yay, I agree its great that she is taking it well. I'll tell you though, its true you will know when it is time to wean (of course refferring to a toddler not a baby here) but last week it was all out tantrums if I told her just a minute to nurse, now she just goes on her way after I say no baby we don't do that anymore. Nichole was down to once a day at 13 months too!! lol then by 15 months it was every 2 hours and thats when I had to stop the don't offer don't refuse method. She was asking constantly and only nursing for a min. max. Once we regualted it and said morning noon and night, she started nursing much better. 5 minutes and then she was done.

Natalia is nowhere close to weaning at 5 months but she does this thing now when she tries to stay awake so she stops to talk and then goes back.
