My daughter is Kayla, and everyone at school assumes she is Mikayla first, I'm like no, its just Kayla!

| Re: Name crisis | | Mikayla seem to be extremely popular here, we are a very french community (although I am english) so alot of kids have very french names here are a few popular examples:
Shanel, Xavier, Chantelle, Manon, Giselle, Therese, Jose, Andre, Brianne, Edrea.
Another name (one of my students) I find quite fetching is:
Rhionach - at first I thought it was a boy and pronounced Rine-ack.
but I was way wrong, she is a girl, and it is pronounced Ree-ona.
My buddy had a boy born in March, dad's name is Jacques (we just call him Jack) his son is Jaxon. |
