hehehe, I can actually pronounce it fine, he actually prefers Jack, and will introduce himself as such.

There are however a few french names I just can't say right, like my MIL is Therese, I've never gotten it right in 15 years...so I just call her mom

Bingo, I would say Teh-Raise...I joke with her all the time that I married her daughter just so I could call her mom.

Wow. There are several here. We are small too. Except I think they all spell it Kaylee.

We are going back to possibly Lachlan, which was something we thought of right at the beginning of the pregnancy, not sure though.

I really like the name Lachlan!

Have you thought of a middle name yet? I know a little boy named Lachlan Dane and I think it sounds really nice.

Pouncy is on a distinguished road
Children: I have 2 boys, Duskin (4) and Kayden (1). Our daughter Sierra will be born in September!
Default Re: Name crisis

First post! Woohoo!

We had our boys' names fairly quickly, but our girl was far harder.
Duskin is a mix of Dusk and Dustin. I liked the names Dustin and Justin but the names were too common. We were thinking of naming him just Dusk, but decided we didn't like that either. So Dusk + Dustin = Duskin!

Our second son, Kayden was a bit more challenging. We scoured the baby names websites and finally saw an old english name, "Kade" meaning "Knight, Shining armor." So we fiddled with the name a bit and came up with Kayden.
It wasn't until later we found out that Aiden, Caden, and Kaden were the top names for boys the year before!

I also like Seamus, Devin, and Tobin.

Good luck!
