true Jtee, but we also know that smoking pot lowers reflexes so I wouldn't feel safe with legaizing it due to the fact there is not Feild test to determine how much is to much to be considered not safe to drive! And yes we are all off topic! lol

There are also medical uses for Marijuana. My point was to illustrate that the original justification was not based on studies and legitimate reasons, it was made illegal because a few racist people wanted to suppress the Hispanic population because the use of Marijuana was a big part of the Hispanic culture at that time. I haven't smoke Marijuana since my college days, so I am not some closet smoker with a Marijuana agenda.  Of course pregnant women should refrain from taking all non medical drugs, smoking, and drinking just to be on the safe side.
