 | Pregnancy Signs... | | Since my menstruation is not normal, I mean my menstruation flows every other month or it takes 2 months to 3 before I have it. But since I already have my partner, I don't know whether I am pregnant or what. But I have some signs like dizziness, vomiting and always sleepy. I am really pregnant? I don't want to have preg test. Because I don't want to be frustrated. |

 | Re: Pregnancy Signs... | | Well, some of the symptoms you are experiencing could definitely be the first signs of pregnancy ~ I know that you said you don't want to take a pregnancy test ~ but if you would that way you would know for sure. If you really are pregnant ~ you would want to know rather than worry yourself silly, huh???? If so it wouldn't/isn't good for you or your baby. Good luck and let us know. (((hugs))) and hoping everything works out the way you want. |

 | Re: Pregnancy Signs... | | My menstrual cycle was extremely irregular at the time of my first pregnancy. It sounds a lot like yours is. And when I got pregnant, it was a surprise. I have no idea how I would have tried to plan one. So never having been pregnant before, once I started having symptoms, I was just SURE that I was.
Not everyone has the same symptoms. You may have some of these or all (or possibly none) Some clear tell-tale signs for me were: extremely sore breasts, frequent urination (most noticeable once I started waking during the night), extreme exhaustion. I had a very dizzy, near fainting spell while running. I didn't have morning sickness, but I read recently that as much as 70% of pregnant women do. And that typically doesn't start until closer to 4-5 weeks or more, but it could be earlier.
I agree with Tracy - you might as well go ahead and take a test. I can understand you not wanting to be frustrated. However, if you start obsessing about every possible symptom "Does this mean...or doesn't it..." then I think that will be even worse if you become convinced that you are, only to start your period next week.
Just take your test and get your answer now. And if you're not pregnant, you can start trying if that's what you want. Others I know who have had irregular cycles have had luck with those ovulation kits. You can test yourself to find out when you're ovulating and just be sure to try on those days to optimize your odds.
Good luck!! |

 | Re: Pregnancy Signs... | | Just a side note, though... those symptoms can *also* mean onset of menstruation, so don't be TOO disappointed if the test comes up negative. ::hugs:: |

For me, the first signs were extreme fatigue and crying easily from anything emotional, either good or bad. Commercials are really designed to tug at the heartstrings, and crying at commercials (which I normally find pretty easy to ignore) was one of the things that happened before I knew I was pregnant.
Do we get to congratulate you? |

| Re: Pregnancy Signs... | | I found out I was pregnant with my first child when I was hospitalized with what we thought was a terrible stomach flu! Three weeks of IV's and anti-emetics, twenty-five pounds and four months later I finally stopped vomiting constantly Wow! That was not a good story to tell....What I should have said was: good luck, your symptoms could be pregnancy and I wish you the best. |

| Re: Pregnancy Signs... | | The biggest thing to consider is this, if you ARE pregnant, you need to start taking better care of yourself, take prenatal vitamins, etc. for the baby's sake. If you're not pregnant, there could be something else going on that you need to know. Take the test, or better yet, go to the doctors and have them do the test. That way you can discuss your symptoms at the same time, regardless of the outcome of the test.
Do let us know what you decide. Best of luck |
