 | Re: Autisim | | I find this diet she is doing with her son interesting. But I will say that she has alot of money to have gotten him the best treatment around so whose to say that the results are all diet related in her son's case. I just would like to see more of a study on this diet because it does seem to be linked somewhat. |

Children: Six stepchildren (5 boys and a girl),3 daughter in laws, two granddaughters and one girl of my own | Re: Autisim | | I've read a lot about the GF/CF diet (a friend of mine has an Autistic son). I don't know much about Jenny M -- I learnt most of mine from books by Jaqui Jackson and her son Luke (multicoloured mayhem and Freaks, geeks and Aspergers syndrome). Jaqui has 7 children, and all 4 of her boys have learning disibilites including Autism. www.autismmedical.com is worth checking out if you'd like to read more - the text is tiny though. http://www.autism.com/treatable/diet_reichelt.htm as is this, an FAQ on CFGF diet.

Children: 2 children, Debra Lyn, and Logan (Bubba) Michael | Re: Autisim | | I agree with you kaytee, I think w/ the right help it's possible to ease the symptoms not cure them...However, Jenny Mccarthy claims her son is cured. Watching the footage of him, you would never know there was anything wrong. I think what she is doing to get the word out there is wonderful, and I think it's amazing what she has done with her son, but I find myself wondering if things like this give other families false hope |

Children: Nichole | Re: Autisim | | if her son is cured then, what would happen if she stops the diet? Would he revert or stay "cured". Don't get me wrong if my child was autistic I would try the diet. |
