Friend of ours has been in prison. Not for any sexual crime. He said they keep them (in a lot of the prisons, can't say for all) in a seperate part of the prison. The child rapists tends to not live too terribly long in prison and if he does, he's beaten every day and raped.

As a father of a girl with a second one on the way, I'm all for putting down anyone who would rape a child. I can also say if anyone ever harmed one of my children in a major way the police better find who did it before I do.

I really don't know what answer to give.

The Christian part of me wants to say let God exact His revenge on them. They will pay for what they did and in a way that is horrible.

But the human, carnal side of me says that if anyone ever touched my children, I wouldn't have to wait for the law to put them to death, I'd do it myself.
