Hmmmm disposed of eh? Like maybe??? Buried alive? Kidding (that would be punitive), but I agree with you HM. I agree a bit with all of you. No easy answers.

The way I see it is this...

If I know someone that is involved in some sort of illegal activity, which in essence is putting mine and my family's life and freedom at risk... I eliminate them from my life. I stop talking to them or hanging out with them. Remove them from the situation. I would of course try to help them if there is actually hope of rehabilitation, but we all know that many times that is not the case - they have to have the desire to stop what they are doing. I will not risk my family for someone elses bad choices.

If a person is so dangerous as to perpetrate horrendous and heinous acts upon society... remove them from the situation.

Now... if it were my daughter that was victimized - YES, I would get punitive and burying alive would be getting off easy.
