Sorry but I have to vent. A younger family member who already has a one year old just recently found out she was pg again, this time with twins. Instead of adopting them out or giving them to a family member who really wanted more children she aborted them! Maybe I am mad because I lost three sets of twins. These babies had heartbeats and she heard them! I'm not sure how to handle it when I see her again. I am sick to my stomach. I wish she would have spoken with me. I know how confusing and overwhelming it feels but she could have done it. A few of us in the family are very upset by this.  | ||

I'm sorry you're so frustrated with this, but instead of you anger that has built inside, think of the possible frustration inside of her. I don't konw how old she was, but she has a one year old already and maybe just wasn't ready to handle twins. I know that sounds horrible, but instead of avoiding her eyes next time you see her, just try and put it past you.

I will do the right thing. I don't want to make her feel bad and it had to be a hard choice to make. It's just hard on my heart. Thanks meow. xoxo | ||

I ikonw you'll do the right thing. AS much as it angers/frustrates/saddens some...the decision she made.....one will always find the right thing to say or do around her......your welcome!

oh thats not good. I wish parents would let their children make their own decisions. I mena obviously share their concerns, but if the girl wanted to have them, then it should have been her decision

That is sad, someone I know had an abortion at 14 yrs old. She wouldn't have done it except her bf at the time was pushing her. It is a desicion that the woman/girl needs to make on her own, not to make someone else feel better.

I had a friend/co-worker who kept getting pregnant in spite some contraception she was using and kept aborting it. That time this subject wasn't as touchy for me as it is now, since I didn't have any kids myself back then. But after her third abortion (when she talked about it) I really got angry at such irresponsibility and asked her why can't she use condoms during those dangerous days on the top of whatever she uses normally for contraception. Her response was so awful "Neither me nor my husband like condoms". I told her that I bet her little helpless babies also didn't care to be killed, but she killed them anyway. She was angry with me for a day or two, but later on she did admit that it got her thinking. Sometimes instead of doing/saying the right thing we are just too focused on not making a person feel guilty for doing the wrong one... | ||
