Default If you could teach your kiddo....

Hello Everybody!!!

Quick cry for help: My mom is a kindergarten teacher and I want to surprise her with some books that I will write and she could print out for her parents as end-of-year gifts. So, as parents I was wondering what the 5-7 lessons you would MOST want your children to learn are. I started a list which included things like Love, Wellness, Creativity, Etiquette, Friendship, Family, etc. but about that time I figured – why not come to the source and ask you all!

So feel free to share one, or a whole list – I am anxious to hear all of your feedback. And remember, it is the 5-7 lessons you would MOST want to teach your children (i guess through a children’s book type medium).

Thanks for helping me carry out this surprise! Having a mom as a teacher reminds me that those are the two most heroic jobs around: Parent & Teacher.

Welcome! I'm a former K teacher myself. You could do something with this, perhaps.

Yeah, that's actually a really cool little article thing. We read it in AP English. Not as an assignment, just because our teacher thought it was interesting.
But the one thing I hope Lyric will learn is that I will love her unconditionally every single day of her life.
