Children: One boy 8, twin girls 7. | Re: Same sex marriage: For or Against? | | There was an MTV special about this. Hardly any of the kids were gay themselves that were raised by same sex parents. Just really loved and supported. None of the children were violent, abusive, criminal or drug addicts. |

| Re: Same sex marriage: For or Against? | | If you had asked me this 10 years ago, I might have had a different answer.
Good Parents are Good Parents.
Bad Parents are Bad Parents.
The rest of the details doesn't concern me anymore. |

Children: One boy 8, twin girls 7. | Re: Same sex marriage: For or Against? | | Probably me as well music-dad. I was raised thinking gay is horrible, blacks were bad, mexicans were worthless, amongst other things. When I grew a bit older I defied my mother and learned how people were on my own. I made my own choices and thoughts and it felt great. I love to love people. I have found there are bad in all types and goodness in all types and not everything is my business. I surround myself with positive people and give people the benefit of the doubt. I teach my children the same respect towards others. |

| Re: Same sex marriage: For or Against? | | To whoever wrote that homesexuality was normal or natural because animals do it too:
This is just a fallacy. It is isolating a single animal behavior that seldom occurs in certain species and generalizing it to the rest of the animal kindom including human.
If that would be the case, then animals kills, they eat their own species, and so on. Should we said that those behaviors are "natural", therefore should be allowed in our society? |

When I was 12 or 13 I can remember flipping through magazines and secretly wanting the women to jump off the page, kiss me, and then go back so no one would know. Now, at 12 or 13, do you really think that I CHOSE to feel that way? I am attracted to men and women and I've had relationships with both. I didn't wake up one morning and say, "Hey, I think I'll try something new today." That's just the way that I've always felt. |

We kill(each other and other animals), we will eat our own species to survive(when we are staving-which is almost always when animals eat their own species, when there is no prey to catch.)
