All I'm gonna say is that Nate and I pay the government A LOT of money for benefits that will we will never have access to. I'm not mad, but I think it's highly unfair that those of you who disagree get MY social security benefits (well, with the way it's going, I'm not going to get any.) I think it's ironic that I have to pay taxes for a war I cannot fight in, and so on and so forth. | ||

Thank you Penn!!!! There are so many arguments that can be made on this topic......so is everyone (who is against same sex marriage or arrangment) against Ellen and Portia de Rossi getting married? what about Elton John and David Furnish? Or what about Penn and his Partner (to strike a little closer to home). I understand and respect everyone's opinons and values, but the world is constantly changing, and wether you are in the fast lane, or are still in the far right with your blinker on, these marriages are going to happen. And my opinon, as i have said it before, why should marriage be sactioned to ONLY a male and a female? Because "god" said so? Thats not a good enough reason. Love is Love, and really thats the bottom line. If two people love each other, then they should have all the same rights and freedoms as anyone else.
