Do you think that teens should have access to birth control (pills, condoms etc etc) with/without parental notification or consent?

IMO , teens should have access to those things, but if they're under 18 then parental consent should be required.

If they have the ability to just go to the doctor, school, or wherever to get BC then it circumvents my ability to raise my child the way I want.

***sits back and waits for people to call me an idiot*** | well, the way i see is that as of this moment, kids can go buy condoms, get birth controll pills at their leisure anyway. I mean it may be different if they went to their family doc, but the contraceptives are there for them to get.
If kids are under 18 they are your responsibility, however, it isn't the establishments that are preventing you from raising your kids, its the kids themselves taking it upon themselves to do this without our knowledge.

I guess I see why they should be able to get it w/o consent though, so many parents don't have that talk with their kid and than they end up preggo at a very young age. I guess my take is give them condoms but not pills. I don't want my child taking something without talking to her doc and me first

It's just giving someone other than me the right to parent my child.

(not arguing just wondering )

Children: Delaney, 6 years old | Re: Teens and Birth Control | | I would be upset, but less so than if she just got it from the school nurse without my knowledge. I truse my ex-wife enough to know that she would have D's best interests in mind and do due dilligence with things like allergic reactions, etc....

They don't know her history...so I totally agree with you.
