I'm honestly not even going to go there..........I'm relaly just so tired of hearing all of this crap. ANd i'm sorry thats what it is. If a parent wishes to cir'c their child ITS NOT YOUR PLACE TO SAY OTHERWISE. I understand all you are doing is providing information for people, but you have gone above and BEYOND what is deemed healthy information.

My son is circ'd and it's not too cool to be told I am a bad mom because of that. I did what I thought was appropriate for my child. I didn't want him growing up being "different" and getting picked on. There isn't a man I know who isn't circ'd. I live in South Dakota, we are more of a conservative and old-fashioned state, farming communities and kids can be cruel. I talked with my doctor, I talked with his father, with my father, with my mother and came up with the desicion to have him circ'd. It's not something that can be changed, and I would do it again.

I understand you just want to shed some light on the subject but this is beyond "shedding light", you are blinding people.

I don't think a doctor can be held liable to criminal prosecution because he was following the PARENT'S ORDERS. He would not have done it had the parents not instructed him to do so.

I must have missed the link saying anything about being a bad mom just because parents get lied and misinformed by myths and sadly medical professionals. You did the best with the info you had.

I personally think I screwed up big time not knowing any better about vaccines untill my son got 9 of them. It does not make me a bad mom, I too did the best with the info I had back then...

We all make mistakes, this is just a part of being a parent; no parent is flawless

Circumcision is NOT criminal assault. That is not only bogus, but completely offensive to mothers who made the decision to have their child circumsized. Please be careful what you say.

Well, please watch this video (it's a video of a NORMAL ROUTINE curcimcision) and imagine this being done on a girl (removing a clitoral hood, which is the very same tissue that in boys develops in foreskin with the same perpose as foreskin, protection of the glans and sexual pleasure). do you still feel that doctor couldn't be charged just because he followed the parent's order??
