I have been playing Gopets for a couple years of now. its more for the older kids. its set up just like neopets except with cats and dogs and pandas.
The great thing about it is they have it set up so you can design your own stuff and sell it to others or just make your own design to keep to decorate your plot of land. I f your younger child plays it, it does have a child safety feature but adding it makes so your child can not recieve gifts from other players who want to help level up thier pet.

Monshi monsters
Its a learning game that is completly free. Your child can create a a lil moster and then can play learning games to buy stuff to feed it or decorate its room and as you make friends the tree in the room grows

This one is definately very family orientated and would find very hard for anyone to become offended by it.
