Default Activities to my 2yrs 2months old kid

Hi,

I have 2 yrs 2months old son.
Myself and my husband are really worried about finding the activities to my KID. We are not at all sure of the activities/games to keep him busy.

We stay in IL state now as it is winter, we can't find anybody in play area. So no outside activities/games during this winter. Coming to Indoor activities, we play with him with bat/ball games and he plays with his toys. What is bothering to us is he and we are getting bored with the same activities and his toys. We really want to make him to play with lots of different games and make him involved in different activities so that he feels busy and come out of boring mood. I was browsing on net but could not find much. May be I did not spend much time on finding them on net. I consider the suggestions from you as very valuable because you must be following them and your kid must be excited about them.

Please help me by providing the information about the different activities and games that we can teach him...

Awaiting for your suggestions...

have you thought about putting him in swimming lessons? or maybe starting your own play group with some mom friends? I'm sure everyone is having this issue.
