Default baby bottles

you should not reuse plastic baby bottles!!!!!! You should use glass or drop ins perhaps? Scary things out there, I'm telling you. Another reason that I am glad that Nichole would not take a bottle. We were going to use the Advent ones too.

just looked on snopes and they say it is not 100% accurate, but I still would not take the chance and use drop ins personally

Me personally if I was bottle feeding, I wouldn't take the chance and would go to drop ins

I used the drop ins for DD...they scared me a little because they always smelt like new plastic...that chemical smell really turned me off. Plus you can't boil them

my friend uses playtex ones for her daughter and when I used them they didn't smell at all. THey may have changed since.
I don't anything about boiling them or not. powdered formula is not sterile anyways, so I would assume as long as you boil the water thats about as safe as you can get. Again I don't know anything about bottle feeding

powdered formula isn't sterile...that's true, but boiling the water makes it sterile, than I would cool it and pour it in to the drop in thingy...(not everyone might notice the smell, I seem to be very sensitive to smells though...lol) I boil everything...binkies, bottles, nipples...everything is sterile, it's kind my own thing...lol I do that once a week besides normal washing

thats good that you do that. I didn't have to worry about since my monkey would not take a pacifier!! I tried so many times though lol.
what about glass bottles, or since he is 9 months old using a sippy cup?

I think the sippy cup is the best answer...I just can't see putting the money into changeing the whole bottle system then in 3 months taking him off the bottle anyways...not that he isn't worth the $$, it just seems like a silly thing to do since he's so close to being done with it
