Children: Two girls, Alenya is two and a half and Kaitlyn is a newborn. | Child's favorite thing to play | | My daughter LOVES to play pretend. It could be with kitchen, cleaning, babies, cooking, she loves to pretend she's grown up. I've tried getting her in to crafts, but they only hold her attention for a little bit. She'll play puzzles and color some too, but she'll play pretend for hours.
What does your child like to do?

Children: One boy 8, twin girls 7. | Re: Child's favorite thing to play | | Mine love to make tents. I used to do the same thing when I was little. They use every sheet and blanket in the house and turn one of their rooms into a child's cacoon. I'll go in there and play sometimes, it's pretty fun. |

She does alright with the sheets. She just likes to hide in them under the bed and pretend we're in a cave and that I'm Mommy Monster that eats kisses lol.

What does your child like to do? | My oldest loves to do this too, she'll say "I'll play that I'm the daddy and you're the mommy." to her younger sister. My youngest loves anything that involves being active, running around, jumping, twirling, chasing, whew!

Children: Jill born Jan 12, 1996 | Re: Child's favorite thing to play | | For 11-12 year old girls, The Sims2 is really popular. If we have a couple of girls overs and there is a lot of giggling going on, they're making the Sims do unusual things. |

Children: one son | Re: Child's favorite thing to play | | Hi, everyone. This is my first post. I just found this forum. It looks like a lot of fun. My son is 10 and he still loves to pretend. Today he and my husband were playing lazer tag; running around the house like crazy, having a great time.

Children: DD (10) and DS (12) | Re: Child's favorite thing to play | | From age 2-5 my DS was a HUGE Thomas the Tank Engine fan. He played with his train set, building and re-building, acting out train stories, etc. for hours a day. He learned his colors, letters, numbers, etc. with Thomas and all the characters. We practically lived on the Island of Sodor. LOL! Now my nephew (2) has caught the Thomas bug and idolizes his big boy cousin (my DS).
Currently 11.5, his favorite pass times are drawing, reading and video games.
DD (9) used to like imaginary play but is now into crafty projects. This can be quite messy. Argh... She likes video games as well, and is currently on a Club Penguin kick. |
