Children: 1 Boy | Feeding positions changing over time | | In my other post, I mentioned how Brian (my 3 month old) has been screaming during his feedings. I've noticed on a couple of occasions that he seems to eat better when he is in a different position.
Up until this point, he has been fed in the cradling position but has become extremely fussy (ok, straight on freaking out) when trying to feed him in this position.
Two of the smoothest feedings since this has started occurred when he was in an almost sitting up position.
Has anyone else noticed a change in the position in which their child likes to eat? Has it been indicative of anything else?
I've been thinking that his acid reflux medicine (Zantac) may be losing its efficacy and that is why he is becoming fussy while eating. |

Children: 1 Boy | Re: Feeding positions changing over time | | Did it just suddenly start out of the blue? Brian usually wakes up once during the night for a feeding and he doesn't seem to care that he is in the cradled position then but during the day... |

I would let him sit. You said he had reflux right? It may cause it to stay down and not come back up. |

As long as his head is above his stomach and he's comfy we don't worry much about it |

Children: 1 Boy | Re: Feeding positions changing over time | | Has anyone had an infant acid reflux and was prescribed Zantac? If so, did you notice whether the Zantac lost it's efficacy after a while? |
