Default First attempt at real words!

Marissa is 13 months old and yesterday she tried to say Banana! It was sooo cute! She was saying 'nana' because I was saying banana when I was feeding her one.
She also tries to say 'Thank.' We play a little game sometimes where she will pick up everything within reach and give it to me. I tell her 'Thank You' each time, and it gets her really excited. So now she is trying to say that too.

I LOVE that she is doing so much, but wow....she sure is growing fast!

I know how you feel...Logan is changing everyday. Now he says dada and mama and the other day he repeated more and mine (not that he has any idea what he was saying he was just copying the sounds) I miss my newborn

I remember when our daughter learned to say "Cookie". She keep saying it over and over and over. It's wasn't that she really wanted a cookie, she just loved to say the word, and she'd laugh. And what was odd at the time, we rarely gave her cookies. I think it was something she picked up while visiting my in-laws.

I love those...the little girl I watch will come up and babble out a whole story with only like 1 real word in there

That's so cute. Natalia is copying sounds some but her new thing is "singing" really loud. "LALALALALALALALA!"
