When I saw the recall on the news today I immediately looked through their toys and found a Dora doll with a kitty.  How concerned should I be? I tried to register through their website but as you can imagine it was bogged down and crashing. | ||

does she put her toys in her mouth a lot, or her hands and does she wash her hands everytime she eats? If she's like mine I would call the dr. and let him know she's been in contact with the toy and have tested for lead. To me it isn't anything I would want to mess around with | ||

I agree if she puts lots of things in her mouth then I woul dbe slightly concerned. However if she is past that age, she is prob. fine. May want to call her doc and just let them know though.

I'll put a call in to her doctor today. I went to Target this morning and there was an entire toy aisle that was stripped bare from the recall. | ||

Its already posted in the recalls thread on here! But yes toys bought before may 07 are safe

We didn't have any of the toys thank goodness. Did you decide to call the Dr? I imagine that they will be getting alot of calls about this also. I just cannot believe that this happened. I mean come on they have to know that lead paint is not to be used especially on children't toys noless. | ||

Well the part that agrivates me is that they were using "Safe" paint before, then switched to the Lead paint. Why in the world would they do something stupid like that?? Well we all already know the answer to that, it was more than likley cheaper.

yep, Most likelt Fisher Price decided to save money and switched to a company that was cheaper for reproduction. That company used lead paint.
