Well, my ex tried to take my 4 year old to see Walle (which I saw and loved!), but she didn't even make it through a quarter of the movie before she got restless.

Seems like Dd was about two before I took her to her first movie. Just got to be prepared to get up and go if they decide they are DONE. :-)

I take mine as soon as they can sit through 90% of a movie at home, that has ranged from 2-3 years old.

Default Re: Going to the movies

I took my five months daughter to the movie. She seemed to enjoy it and slept after a while and then woke up to finish the remaining movie We used cotton ear plugs so that the sound does not bother her much. It was a great outing i must say. After that we took her to dinner too. We usually take her out quite often so she likes it as she has more to explore outside the house. Me and my hubby manage it together. Good luck!
