Luke Zing is on a distinguished road
Default intentional gagging / throwing up

hello.
we have a 14 month boy and he has the habit of stuffing his hands in his mouth to the point that it makes him throw up.
we guess it's at least partly due to teething (for the back teeth) but I also feel it's mostly just for attention. He doesn't really do it when we're playing with him.

Anyone else deal with this? Cleaning up vomit on a daily basis is getting tiring (not to mention the smell).

Today i tried a stern NO! but who knows if he has any idea what i'm talking about.

Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If his back teeth are coming in you may want to try some tssthing remedies for him, like teething tablets or even popsicles w/supervision

I agree, if he is doing it because of pain, try giving him teething tabs or maybe even some tylonal. If he continues doing it to the point of puking, I would call his doc and see what they say
