Children: Daughter | My baby wont drink regular milk | | Helllo everyone my daughter is 14 months and she will not drink whole mile or any other kind of milk. I still breastfeed her and she doesn't have a problem with that. I do however try to give her the breast milk in a sippy cup but she won't drink it. She just likes to nurse, which is fine for me but I just would like to know is it a bad thing that she isn't drinking whole milk? |

If she's still nursing that's all she really NEEDS...everything else is extra

My daughter is 15m.o. and she also wouldn't drink anything, but nurse. And so is my 32 months old son

Children: Daughter | Re: My baby wont drink regular milk | | Yes I have introduced her to solid foods. She's not using the breast as a pacifier. I was just afraid that she wouldn't be getting enough nutrition. Thank you so much.

No, it's not a bad thing at all, but I would continue to encourage a sippy cup. She can't get her fluids from Mom's chest forever. LOL! Try different styles with different spouts. Some babies do better with sport straw type sippy cups. Good luck! |
