I firmly believe that boys should have a play kitchen if it's something they will enjoy. Toys don't make boys gay...lol

hehe..actually the last time I talked to the middle son, he told me he thought he may be gay... I told him that was all fine, but he'd still better use precautions if he's active, because I'm still worried about Aids...

I wouldn't wish it for him, because if he does indeed decide he's gay, it's a rough world out there, and people are narrow minded. But his sexual preferences don't affect me, nor the fact that he's my son Hopefully he will feel my home is a safe haven when he needs one.

On Christmas I am going to buy my nephew Computer fun time by Giggles. When my Nephew is over he would climb on my computer chair and start pushing on my keys. That is when a lot of my files or program pops up

(The program locks out the system and protects your computer and files, allowing your little one to touch any key at all.
Babies learn about and play with shapes, colors, animals, letters, numbers and more! All in different fun-filled and uniquely baby friendly environments - all they have to do is touch any key!)

Addy Software for babies - Giggles Computer Funtime For Baby™ - baby and infant software games

Xero, don't stress too much on the presents. You will probably find the little one will prefer to play with the boxes and paper more anyway.

LOL you are so right. He's always been that way, wanting the boxes and paper even though a great present or whatever it may be is right inside of them. haha. He found one of his presents in my room yesterday though in a Wal-Mart bag (the big car) and he was going crazy trying to get the bag off of it so he could play with it. And when he pressed the bumper on accident and it made car noises, he got so excited. lol. It was cute. So I think he'll like what I got him. I put the car away, even with as much as I wanted soooo bad to just give it to him. I must wait!!

My daughter turns 1 on September first too and we are going through the same problem trying to decide what to get for her. She really likes pushing her own stroller around so we are thinking about getting one of those small baby strollers for her so she can push that around the house as much as she wants. But like others have said they always end up playing more with the wrapping and the boxes than the actual gift.

Aw wow that's so cool they have the same birthday!! I wish they could be friends, but I bet we live far away. Oh well... that's really cute though.

You know what else you could get her if she likes to push stuff around? One of those play grocery carts. She can put babies in that too, and pretend food, and just push it around like she's shopping.

Thanks for the great idea I actually like the idea of a shopping cart better than that of the stroller. She loves to put stuff in and out of laundry baskets and bowls so having a shopping cart that she can put stuff in and push around is going to make her day.
