Children: A one year old boy, Eli. | Soaking Through! (It's Crazy) | | For anybody that knew me from when I used to post here before, hi! I'm back. I'm all moved into my new appartment and we have the internet now so yeah.
Back to the real topic though, my son Eli is 10 months old and close to every night, he soaks through his diaper and wets his sheets. I can only do so much laundry!! lol. He wears Huggies Overnight diapers, and he used to wear size 4 (it's what size regular diaper he wears during the day), but since he started soaking through every night, I thought I would try buying the next size up, the size 5's, but he STILL SOAKED THROUGH THEM!! lol can you believe it? What a pee machine. Does anyone have any advice? What else could I do? Help me. |

Children: Two boys, Alexander (3) and Ryan (3 months) | Re: Soaking Through! (It's Crazy) | | I know my son goes to be much earlier than I do. So would it be possible to wake him up to change him part way thru the night just before you go to bed?

Children: A one year old boy, Eli. | Re: Soaking Through! (It's Crazy) | | Well, it would, and sometimes I do, but everytime I've done that, he completely wakes up and when I try to put him back to bed he screams his head off like I broke his heart and sometimes it takes a lot of time to get him back to sleep... Maybe there's some kind of extra padding I could put in there? |

About the diapers though...I can't be much help there as my baby wears cloth but you could try putting him in fleece or wool pants or shorts at bedtime...I use them as diaper covers and they keep the wet from leaking out on to the sheets and things

I got the necklace from a store on Ebay. I really think it helps, I'm so glad I heard about it here! It's pretty cute too, I love it.
Yeah, I wish that I had used cloth with him, he's always had particularly sensitive skin. I don't know if you or anybody remembers, but I was asking about his skin condition too. Just to update, I changed his bath wash and lotion over to Aveeno and his diapers to Huggies, and only put baby oil on his face, and he hasn't had any rashiness anywhere since I started with all that. You can tell from the siggy picture, can't you? His skin looks great, doesn't it?
But back to the soaking through, fleece pants huh? I wonder where I could find some of those... Or you know what?????? I just thought of this! You know how they have those plastic training pants-things? I wonder if that would work? Do you think that would work? |

Children: A one year old boy, Eli. | Re: Soaking Through! (It's Crazy) | | Thanks! I think I'm going to look into one of those things. What I meant by the question of where to get it though, I kind of meant at this time of year. It's summer, so I wonder who would sell fleece pants. I do have one pair of fleece sweatpants for him I think, but I'm not sure if they might be too baggy... Who knows. Well thanks again. |
