So has anyone ever bought the videos that I have been seeing where you teach babies to learn sign language? I know my friend whose son has autism is learning sign language and is doing very well with using it as a form of communication. So I was just wondering if anyone else has tried it and if so did you have good results? | ||

I never did, thought about it and was stupid not to since I know sign language myself. I think it is a wonderful teaching tool. Luckily my dd was an excellent taler and way above her age. She was said to be over a 2 year old when she was 15 months old. She now can say a few short sentences, says EVERYTHING, knows her ABC"s and can count 10, almost 20, but it is nnnteen, nnnteen, nnnteeen, tenty!!! YAY!! lol I don't think she is a genious baby or anything, I just thinks she can talk therefore repeat easier.

You know what is weird is when my sons were learning to count they always seemed to skip the number sixteen. Have no clue as to why. My son's are older now but I think if they were younger I would have tried to teach them sign language. | ||
