Children: Nichole | Toddler bed | | well we are trying Nichole in her toddler bed for nap today!! Wish us luck. If she does ok I will be off to walmart to buy a baby gate for her bedroom door. She is just right outside the staircase, and I don't want her wandering downstairs in the middle of the night. If it doesn['t work well then she is only 19 months and there is plenty of time to move her |

Children: 2 children, Debra Lyn, and Logan (Bubba) Michael | Re: Toddler bed | | good luck . I got DebraLyn her toddler bed for her 2nd birthday. It was a volkswagen bug, sooo cute. I was really shocked at how she took to it right away. It was no big deal to be in a different bed. I put a baby gate at the door to her room and life went on. To me it was such an exciting new step, to her it was another night...lol |

Children: Nichole | Re: Toddler bed | | lol I have seen those!! They are cute!! We are just using her crib as a convertable toddler. So far she is doing great. I put her down and left her room. I stood outside her door. She came out 5 or 6 times and I would just say "no, it's time to go night night" she would crawl right back in. Finally it got to the point that I would leave and would hear her getting out, all I would do is say "Nichole" and she would scurry right back in and lay down. She has been sleeping for an hour now!!!! YAY!!!!
I told my dh (he's at work) he's like are you happy she is staying or sad that she is growing up. I said both but very excited too!! |

Children: Jill born Jan 12, 1996 | Re: Toddler bed | | Have fun. Every kid is different (or so I am told). I remember often our daughter (at age 3) getting up to tell us things she wanted us to know. Or waking up in the morning to find her asleep in our bed. We often had "Monster" sitings after she had just gotten into bed. |

Children: Nichole | Re: Toddler bed | | She did great! We are on ourt 2nd night now and she didn't even try to get up once when we put her down for the night! So two naps and two nights and I think she is just fine with her big girl bed!! Aww she's only 19 months old and already growing up |
