Children: Nichole
Default What time does your baby/toddler go to bed

Just curious, Nichole (15 months) goes to bed at 7 and sleeps till 7-8. She does however still wake through out the night. typically 2 times, sometimes once ands well sometimes more then 3 times. She usually goes right back to bed after a few min of cuddling.

My son is 8 1/2 months ~ he usually goes to bed between 8-9 pm and wakes around 5:30-6 am for a bottle. He then goes back to sleep and wakes about 7 am. Much better now!

My son turned 2yo this past March.

He goes to bed between 7-7:30pm and wakes around 7:30am. He typically doesn't wake at all during the night unless he is not feeling well or has a nightmare.

I love that he is such a great sleeper!

I've got a 22 month old neice that I put to bed at 8:30 or 9 but these days it's mostly because of the sun - we're in Wisconsin and she just doesn't go down much before the sun does! She sleeps until about 7:00 a.m. most of the time.

Then I have a little nephew that we put down at 7:30 sharp nearly every day and he sits around in his crib reading himself books (cutest thing in the world) for about an hour before falling asleep. He gets up at 6:00 almost every morning.

Default Re: What time does your baby/toddler go to bed

My youngest who will be a year old on July 4th has been sleeping through the night since the beginning!! I lucked out with her. When she was a newborn she would sleep about five hours at a time. It wasn't an every day thing, but a mostly thing. Then when she got about 4-5 months old she was sleeping completely through the night for about 8 hours. Then at around 8 months old she started sleeping for about 12 hours at a time through the night. She usually goes to bed around 8-9pm and sleeps till are 8-9am. My toddler on the other hand, I've never been so lucky. She will be 3 in September and she still wakes up through the night. I think now she is having trouble with bad dreams or something. Not quite sure what the problem is but it is driving me nuts!! She goes back to sleep after cuddling her, but she won't go back to sleep alone..which means my 2 1/2 year old sleeps me with 95% of the time!! Any one who has advice for this please let me know!!

lol I know the pain!!! My 17 month old does not sleep through the night either. Of course she used to. She was much like your first. She was exclusivlely breastfed as well, slept about 8 hours at night by 6 weeks old, by 12 weeks old she was going 10-12 hours. then seperation anxiety kicked in full forse around 6 months old. She was up every 2-3 hours all night long. Now we are down to typically once a night. She also just requires some hugging and a few kisses then goes right back to sleep.
So I guess as soon as I figure out how to get her to sleep through the night, I will offer some tips! lol
