I don't know if it's because I may be holding back for fear of hurting the little guy but when Brian (15 months) gets his hands on something he can be like a dog with a bone when you try to take it away.
He got his hands on the remote control (the real one, once we saw that he had a liking for the remote at about 8 months we gave him an old TV remote to play with) the other day and my wife tried to take it away from him and she ended up having to use two hands to take it from him.
He's just done some things that make him seem preternaturally strong for his size.

Children: 4 Year Old Daughter | Re: Is your infant/toddler unusually strong? | | LOL, that would be a giveaway wouldn't it? ;-)
Dd has always been stronger that I would expect her to be at her size. Even from when she was younger, I would be amazed at how far her little arm could throw a ball.

Children: A one year old boy, Eli. | Re: Is your infant/toddler unusually strong? | | Oh yeah, Eli is 11 months and if he gets ahold of something, and I try to take it away because he can't have it, he hold on SO TIGHT sometimes I literally have to use two hands and yank it or as much as unpry his fingers from it to get it away. It's funny to see this thread because I was for real just thinking about this last night when he got a hold of something twice that day and I could hardly get it away from him. It was amazing to me how strong he was. I figured it was normal.
