this was my first thought until he said she had wanted to put her plate in the sink first. I would watch for signs of pain and if she seems to be going more then normal

We are going through this at the moment with our 3 year old daughter. We got her to go to the toilet a while ago but she refuses at times to go. Its to cold or i was doing this or something to get out of going. But we are working on it with her at the moment and she is getting better.
