In fact, statistically speaking, most crashes happen close to home. |

I would call the police on the police chiefs wife then! thats just wrong. I work with a lady in my church who has her 7 month old forward facing right now. Granted the child is over 20lbs, but can barely crawl yet so you know her neck and back muscles cannot be that strong!! |

I would call the police on the police chiefs wife then! thats just wrong. | I would BUT... first of all we live in a very small town (population 1000) and their is only one cop. Second, the lady's police cheif husband is out of town (serving in Iraq) until July. She has talked about the replacement cop but is very good friends with him. Matter of fact we have heard some pretty nasty rumors that if they are true he wouldn't do anything either.

Children: Hannah, age 6 | Re: Please don't let your kids... | | This is probably a stupid question, but why is it safer to face them backwards when they are babies?
I mean, Hannah was rear-facing until she was 13 months and 25 lbs because I knew it was safer, but what is it that makes it safer? |
